Recently, CHD president Sha Aimin and the president of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), Li Xingwei, signed an inter-university cooperation agreement on behalf of the two universities, respectively.

This agreement aims to promote educational and academic exchanges between the two universities and commit to high-level international cooperation between them. Both universities will establish a relationship of equality, mutual benefit, complementary advantages, mutual collaboration, and joint development, integrating the advantages of both disciplines and specialties, vigorously promoting student exchanges, reciprocal teacher visits, cooperation in scientific research, and other comprehensive cooperations.

MUST is a world-renowned comprehensive research university listed by the state as a high-standard construction of industry-university-research demonstration base university. It is ranked 251-300 in the 2022 Times Higher Education World University Rankings. In the 2022 ESI rankings, the university is ranked in the top 1% worldwide in seven disciplines: Engineering, Computer Science, Social Sciences (General), Clinical Medicine, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Pharmacological Toxicology, and Biology and Biochemistry.
